Hey There!

It's 1:54 PM EDT, 76°F, Humidity 52%, Wind 10 mph SW, mostly sunny

Getting a late start today because of golf and an extended chat with Son2.

Yesterday the morning routine consisted of what we normally do when out on the road. I get up, get dressed, grab coffee from the breakfast room as well as a couple of small pastries, and bring the coffee back while DW gets up and showers. When she's ready, we go down for breakfast. When we come back, I either shower or not depending on the day's activities. No shower yesterday as it was just the drive home. We packed up, checked out, and hit the road home.

I took a very circuitous route home along all state roads. We drove through state forests and national forests, not stopping much except to check out one campsite I've had my eye on for some time. It was really a pleasant ride home, but by the time we got home, I felt my energy lagging. I am beginning to wonder if what I am experiencing is simply a caffeine crash, as I drink my coffee in the morning, but don't really do much of anything else except drive.

When we got home, I turned on the ball games, as the playoffs have begun. The rest of the day was all about playoff games. My teams this round are the Phillies (lost), White Sox (won), Yankees (won), and Cubs (lost).

Dinner was a plant-based chili to which DW added a little ground beef. I didn't eat much because I just wasn't hungry. She did make a late lunch of Annie's Mac and Cheese as well.

I stayed up until Ben Rice of the Yankees hit a grand slam to give them a 9-0 lead. That's when I went to bed. I had cleaned the kitchen during the game, so I set a mouse trap (no mice) and went to bed around 11:15 PM.

That's all for now. 'Til We Meet Again!
