Hey There!
Yesterday was a rather typical day, nothing too out of the ordinary. The house cleaner came at 8:30 AM, and I found myself getting up at 7:55 AM, so a bit of a rush to get my morning routine done before her arrival. Once she got here, I took off for my walk.
When I got back I had some oat bran for breakfast and settled into another day of puttering around. Unfortunately one thing I did was procrastinate on getting my podcast started. That will have to happen today. I think it's another sign that I'm growing tired of producing it.
DW spent her day baking cookies and muffins. I wrote a post for my front-facing blog. I took a nap in the afternoon. I think I watched a YouTube video or two, and spent some time looking for a new Victorinox. I've spent too much money this past week buying things to create ideal EDC pouches. I had noticed that the SAK I already have lacked a Phillips screwdriver, and if there's one thing I know about my EDC, it's that the tools I use most are the knife blade, the flathead screwdriver, and the Phillips screwdriver. I think I was too tuned into the saw on the last one I bought to notice that it didn't have a Phillips. Not good. So I bought one with a Phillips. I should be good to go.
My baseball team won, but not handily. It's the last week of the season, and playoffs begin next week. I really have to get everything shipshape and ready so I can watch the playoffs without guilt.
With the fall equinox past, the light change is now truly noticeable. I didn't wake up at all last night, and when I got up at 7:25, it was not bright and sunshiney. Sunrise is now after 7 AM, and sunsets are creeping up to the 7 PM mark. No more getting up to pee at 6:30 AM in bright sunshine.
Not much on the calendar today. I have got to get a good chunk of the podcast done or it will hang over my head this weekend. I won't like that feeling.
