Hey There! It's 12:38 PM EDT
An interesting thing about last night's ballgame. It seemed like everyone was geared up for another Dodgers win after Monday night's marathon win. The Fox announcers continually extolled Shohei Otani's brilliance as a pitcher. And then - as if out of nowhere - the Blue Jays won. Everyone seemed to act like it was some sort of mysterious happening. All of a sudden Otani wasn't so sharp, and the Dodger's offense didn't show up. Who'd'a thunk it?
Yesterday afternoon I slogged around the house after making sure everything was set for my podcast release. Then I took a nap. DW made a light dinner of leftover soup and grilled cheese with bacon sandwich, and we sat down to watch the game. As soon as it was over I went right to bed.
This morning I spent reading the remainder of the readings I am evaluating, and sending them off. Then DW and I went to vote in our local elections. Later this afternoon I'll play my final round of golf for the season (I assume), and then back home, dinner, and tonight's game. Are more surprises in store? We shall see.
Things around my life are slowly beginning to pile up. I have several errands and chores that have to be done, but I believe I won't get to most of them until after this weekend. The weather is turning decidedly colder by tomorrow, but I hope it will moderate by the beginning of next week so I can button things up.
'Til We Meet Again!
