Hey There! It's 4:57 PM EDT
A very rainy day today. Should be a good drought-buster, at least to the point where the local reservoir will fill up to a decent amount. I just checked out the back yard and it seems the wind and rain from last night blew over my scooter. Since it's still raining and the scooter is already down, no sense picking it up until the rain stops.
Last night DW and I finished Season 1 of The Studio. I don't have any idea how they film that series. The final two episodes were wild. I also can't imagine that they ever do re-takes. It's so crazy who cares what the shot looks like. I have to find out if there's a Season 2 on the way.
Nothing scheduled today. DW went to lunch with a friend and I drove her there and back. In the interim I tried to fix my visual voice mail, which seems to have gone on the fritz, but I haven't had any luck yet. I just decided to forward all voice messages to Google Voice so I can get voicemail right away as well as see transcripts. Solves the immediate problem.
I also have been taking a look at how to delete my Yahoo and Microsoft accounts. Not as easy as it seemed on first thought. I have an urge to just delete everything and see what happens. Nothing much, I imagine. But it is a slog for this old brain.
Another quiet evening is in store. Nothing to watch together unless we find a movie. DW hasn't seen the latest Wes Anderson flick; I have, but I'd watch it again. Maybe we can also find the latest Spinal Tap film somewhere. I missed it at the local cinema. Not sure yet what's for dinner but I am sure it'll be tasty.
Have you ever had one of those nights where your dreams are so vivid you can't tell whether or not you actually slept? That was last night for me. Hate those kinds of nights.
The Federal government is so out of control We are so fucked.
