Hey There!
It's 8:22 AM EDT, 63°F, Humidity 86%, Wind 11 mph W, overcast
We're at that point in the year where the sun rises about 7:30 AM. Standard time will change that for a bit in a couple of weeks.
Yesterday was another one of those unscheduled days of doing whatever came up. DW and I prepared for the return of the cleaning person, only to discover she had to take her sister to the ER in Big City and forgot to tell us. So while DW went to visit a friend, I got myself cleaned up and updated the upstairs computers. I looked around to see what I had to do to start Step 2 of the Great Computer Downsize, and it's a bit overwhelming. So I let it go for another day.
My nephew is getting married next year, and it's a destination wedding in Costa Rica. I did some research on the region, and I will be pretty uncomfortable there, as it's all about luxury. I'm not a lux kind of guy. I'll probably go solo, although I'd love to be able to get away with not going at all.
I responded to a letter from a former workshop associate with whom I've stayed in touch. I started a draft for a post for the public blog, but gave up and held the draft. Fatigue seems to be a problem, and I did a little research which makes me suspicious that my blood pressure medication may be the culprit. I ended up in the middle of the day taking a fairly long nap.
YouTube filled the time between waking up and dinner. I grilled chicken outside because the weather was so nice. Squash and yellow beans made up the rest.
After dinner we watched the final episode of Ted Lasso. Everything worked out splendidly, and almost all plot lines were tied up in a nice bow. I don't need another season.
I both watched and listened to the baseball game, which Tampa won 3-1. My TV has been acting up, and I had to resort to a full factory reset. I am not sure if I've solved the problem, but I do have to go back and adjust some settings I changed from straight factory. I really don't want to have to buy a new TV or streaming stick. I just listened to a few innings out on the porch because it was such a beautiful evening. The game took me all the way to bedtime, which was 11:20 PM.
That's all for now. 'Til We Meet Again!
