Hey There! It's 3:04 PM EST

I had a little bit of a rough night last night. About two in the morning I had to get up and vomit. It must have been something I ate, but I couldn't tell you what. Sirloin tips, pasta, onions and mushrooms in some kind of gravy. Maybe one of the mushrooms. DW had no issues.

I was really exhausted from all the work I did at my camp site yesterday. I cleaned out the small shed, and in hindsight I think I should have worn a mask, as there were a lot of small styrofoam beads floating about, not to mention mice nests and other assorted small animal leavings. I took out everything I thought mice would rip up for nests, but with mice you never know. I still have to set out some poison cubes for them. Once I had the shed cleared out I brought in the solar panels.

I also brought in the riding mower and took out the battery for trickle charging over the winter. The push mower came in as well. I broke down the cot and the kitchen table to make a little room. I can sit there during the day if I like, and I could probably set the cot back up as well if I wanted to, but I feel overnights are over. I put a new tarp over the old riding mower, but I still need to cover the trailers. I couldn't get that done yesterday, but I think they will survive the next week even though today it's raining pretty hard and there's snow in the coming forecast for early next week. But I have too many other things to get done at home before then.

So what with all the work I did as well as puking in the middle of the night, I'm not exactly in the best of shape at the moment. I did an interview for my podcast this morning and have another one later on this evening, and I can handle that. Other than that, just sitting around and recuperating. DW went for a hair appointment, and we're both just taking it easy.

I took in the election news this morning. I have a wait-and-see attitude on it all. Next year will be much more informative. I'm very cynical about politics, as I believe politicians accomplish next to nothing these days. We're so paralyzed with the culture wars and playing the blame game that we are now incapable of building or improving anything anymore. It's sad to see.

Notable deaths: Bob Trumpy, Cincinnati Bengal tight end and NFL football broadcaster and analyst, 80.
