Yesterday was a day where I spent working on the project all day long. I went through my morning routine, and once it was completed, I engaged DW with helping me through the mechanics. We worked from about 10:15 AM until 12:30 or so. I took a breather, and continued to go over the project on my own. As DW was having a visitor, I went upstairs to work.
I got on a chat with Son2 trying to work out a schedule for me to help him with his business this coming fall. Because he's two hours away, some sort of commuting plan has to be worked out for me to be there a couple of days, but only have to do one commute a week. Details on that still need to be worked out.
I ate a leftover lunch of cube steak and pasta, which was also going to serve as my dinner because of the schedule. I left for the day's project session at about 3:30 PM after struggling with the TV to get the World Cup match between France and Spain on for her. The cable company must have been slammed yesterday, as it just buffered for some time. I finally tried another app and got that working.
I was working on the project from about 4PM to 8PM. The extra work is paying off, but not completely. But it's getting better. We stumbled through with just a few hiccups. Hopefully those can be worked out today.
I got home around 8:30 PM and DW made a cheesburger for me. Then I settled in on the couch to relax and shed the day's stress. I tried to watch the All Star Game, but it got so jam-packed with corporate nonsense and other corporation bullshit that it became unwatchable. I am so sick of major capitalist conglomerates tacking their enshittified products and services onto sporting events and making them unwatchable for fans. It's gotten to the level of being absolutely appalling. These events are no longer sporting events, but events created to leverage eyeballs and make a few people tons more money. Another example of social entropy at work.
I did watch an interesting video featuring a guy who pulls the telemetric fuses out from cars so they don't send data to corporate. I buy old cars without this feature specifically to prevent that from happening. But if I ever do buy a new car, I may look into this further. The Toyota Rav4 he tested worked fine without the telemetry. Something to consider later on. Bedtime came around at 11:02 PM.
