I have to be quick this morning, as I have a drive to Son2's city and need to get on the road early to make an appointment to see an audiologist.
Yesterday after a shortened morning routine and some breakfast, I tool DW up to Big City for her follow-up exam after her cardioversion. 100% all good. No issues. We drove back home after a stop for gas, and had some leftovers for lunch after debating lunch out. We decided to save the $30 since we had done takeout for dinner on Monday.
Really not much after that. I did try taking a nap but didn't get much sleep. I once again tried to get my domain pointed in the right place, but I think I'm gonna throw in the towel and have my blogging service do the work for me.
Dinner was also leftovers - chicken meatballs in a pineapple sauce over rice, but with an ear of sweet corn from a stand outside town. Then the ballgame, which was another 2-0 win due to two home runs and good pitching. The new kid on the team got his first major league hit - a home run. Nice way to start a career.
A few Youtube videos after the game, including two from the late50s-early 60s TV series Peter Gunn. I have really been enjoying the style and tone of that series; B&W, simple, sparse, and just about everything seems to happen at 2AM. That noir look is really compelling, and actually makes me happy. Bedtime came around 11:02 PM
