I missed another day. I think what happens sometimes is that I think about writing my post, but then I wait until I think there's something to write about. But in the waiting for something to write about, I forget to write. Vicious circle.
The play I saw on Sunday was OK. It was a fluff piece, and the play had no other purpose than to ingratiate itself with people who like Shakespeare. I didn't much like the 2-dimensional nature of the characters and the plot, but the performances were fine.
Baseball playoffs continue, with some teams facing elimination today. I caught a bit of the games on Sunday and both games last night until Milwaukee went up 7-3.
Yesterday I took my first walk in the park in a week. I shortened the distance as I hadn't walked in some time. I dropped off and picked up DW from PT before and after walking, and then I did a little cleaning up of my office space. I took a nap about 4PM or so, and then I conducted an interview for my next podcast. Finished up the day with dinner and sports.
DW has been in a lot of pain these past few days, and it's making me feel helpless. She does not seem to be able to get comfortable in any of our chairs or in any sitting position at all. It's her hip. She massages it, heats it, and ices it constantly, to no avail. Today she's starting a course of steroids. Hopefully that will help ease the pain. She can't take pain medication stronger than Tylenol because of her blood thinner. She's real ornery when she's in pain, which is a good portion of the time these days. I hate to offer advice because that just seems to make her more ornery. I am hoping the steroids combined with more PT will help the situation, but it's my fear that something deeper is causing the issue, and she will hit the roof if someone mentions the possibility of surgery to her.
We have more baseball on tap for this evening, and after breakfast I will be taking a ride to get gas. A light rain is falling this morning, which is good, but I wonder if it will be enough to ease the drought. Probably not. Another interview this evening as well.
