Hey There! It's 5:02 PM EDT

Man, it is getting harder and harder to get out of bed in the morning. The woman who comes to do the heavy cleaning in the house every two weeks comes at 8:30AM, so I have to be up and presentable by then. A rough go when it's still pretty dark at 7:45.

Anyway, got up this morning and took DW to PT while I took my first walk in a while. I didn't really feel any aftereffects, but I only went 30 minutes. Listened to Cory Doctorow on Enshittification via a podcast. Picked up DW after her PT session and had breakfast.

I have been working on getting all my google photos into a photo organizing program. There are a lot of them, many unnecessary. Organizing all the photos and eventually culling a good deal of them is going to be a winter project. Not an easy task to move everything.

I also went to help out my senior tech student. I am trying to trim her down to the simplest flow of information and instructions possible. Email, text, voice. If I can get her to manage just those three programs, I might be accomplishing something. But I think in the long run she can probably use an assistant to manage her digital life. Maybe that's a service someone can invent for seniors. She still has a very sharp mind and wants to stay informed. She went to the local No Kings Rally this past Saturday, and so it isn't any help to try to get her to reduce her information consumption. She's also fairly aware of phishing scams and such, but of course it only takes one mistake to get fleeced.

If I were living alone, I'd probably not have a single TV subscription service. I see HBOMax is raising their price, so DW has gone annual to get an extra two months essentially free. I watch so little scripted TV, sticking mostly to sports. It wouldn't be worth it for me.

Looks like salmon for dinner, and then I am presuming we will watch the last episodes of The Studio. No ballgame on until Friday, so I have a few evenings of free time to fill. The darkness will be descending soon, and I will have to figure out a better plan this year to conquer it.

'Til We Meet Again!
