I'm up on my campsite this morning, having left the house early to get some work done up here. I don't think it's going to be too difficult, but of course I may be in for a surprise. The hardest part is the small shed and getting all the crap out of there. The mice had a field day in there last winter, and I never got around to cleaning out all the cardboard and what not they tore up. Once I sweep out all that stull, then it's just about reorganizing everything and storing things in the shed.
Yesterday was a ho-hum day. It was cold and rainy, so I stayed indoors and took a day off so my body could be rested for today's effort. I spent most of my time working on my computers. I took my 5TB portable hard drive upstairs and had my photos imported into Shotwell on that computer. Then I took a computer that I didn't remember I had somehow farked, but after a few hours I managed to get Mint Linux on it. It seems to restart itself for no good reason and odd times, so you could be installing something and all of a sudden, the computer would restart, and you're back to square one. I am not sure I am going to deploy it other than to see if it will remain stable, but I won't trust it with anything important.
Dinner was Coconut Mahi-Mahi with leftover brown rice and sweet potato fries. We received a big order from Omaha Steaks yesterday, so DW and I arranged that, put stuff in the freezer, and had afew of the Beer Battered Shrimp with dinner. Then the evening was spent on YouTube drooling over new camping equipment. I think I am going to write a post on my public blog about how the distance between what I'd like to have and how long I'll use it (or if I'll use it at all) is shrinking.
