Hey There! It's 8:08 AM EST

It looks like it's going to be a mostly cloudy week with high temperatures in the 40s. It's clearly peak gloom season now.

Yesterday's morning routine came off without a hitch. First I got the recycling out on the curb. Then I took DW to physical therapy, where she is making great progress. I have noticed that she doesn't waddle as much anymore when walking, and she is not complaining about her hip and foot in the evening. She is going to continue for another 6 weeks before we take off to AZ. While she was at PT, I took my morning walk in the park.

After breakfast I did an interview with two people involved in an internship program locally, then I cleared out the last remaining furniture pieces from the screened-in porch. It looks barren now, and that was kind of depressing in a way. The final nail in summer's coffin. I also got the last two interview sessions scheduled for tomorrow, so all interviews will be done by then.

I had some leftovers for lunch, but I think the rest of the afternoon was spent just dithering about. I know at one point I fell asleep listening to a YouTube video. Dinner was also leftover soup from the freezer and a sandwich. Then I sat down and began reading You Gotta Have Wa, a book about the clashes between American and Japanese baseball styles and cultures when Americans play in Japan. I got through almost half the book last night. It's quite an entertaining book to me as someone interested in Japanese culture and baseball. It is, however, 17 years old, so it's not that it's outdated, but it does not have any recent events or information. The fundamentals of the book, however, are solid - the two styles of approaching baseball are culturally incompatible.

Today I don't have anything except helping a former colleague get his podcast online. Seems like I'm always helping people out with technology these days. I should start a business!
