Yesterday was a busy day, and the rest of the coming days are going to be busy as we prepare to get everything we need to do accomplished before we leave in 6 days. The pressure is on!
I did two interviews yesterday, and both went OK. In addition to that, I managed to finish off the next podcast due on the 25th. I am hoping that by Thursday evening I will have the final 2 podcasts done, as I would like them out of the way as soon as possible so I can focus on other things.
All of that took up most of the day, and by 5PM I was ready for some baseball. I watched the US beat Mexico 5-3. Mexico had its chances, but I think this time around USA has much better pitching. USA should come out of pool play undefeated, as they have their final game with Italy tonight.
DW made a delicious dish of prawn scampi for dinner. We are trying to eat up all the food we have left so there's as little leftover as possible when we leave. After dinner and the game, I tried to join the JAL Mileage Club, but in the process I could no longer see my flight reservations on the app. This morning I purged the cache and data and re-entered the information, and they came up thank god. But I got a call from my flight partner who told me our flight from Vancouver to Seattle had been canceled. So now I have to call the airline and figure out what to do. That should be a three-hour phone call. Not fun.
I think I watched one, maybe two videos before bed, which was at 11:10 PM.
