Hey There! It's 8:05 AM EDT, Humidity 88%, Wind 2 mph NE, overcast

Well, yesterday went right down the toilet real fast. For whatever reason, I did not sleep well the night before, and I remember just having a lot of stressful dreams. I awoke early Monday because I had a dental appointment at 8:30 AM. I had a tooth that was swelling up around the gums, but the swelling had subsided a great deal.

While I was in the chair, the dentist started lowering it down, and it went lower than I was prepared for. I began to feel my eyes roll to the back of my head, and as I tried to recover by moving my head, the inner ear crystals must have let loose. I could feel the dizzy spell coming on. Once she brought me back up, I knew I was going to have issues, as my head felt light. Once she was done, walking to the payment counter and out the lobby was a challenge. Driving the short distance home was even worse.

Things got worse from there. I was very hungry, so I had a breakfast burrito on top of the yogurt I scarfed down before going to the dentist. After a bit I went upstairs to try the Epply Maneuver, but it didn't go well. I don't think I set myself up correctly. I ended up vomiting out the food I had eaten. At that point I went downstairs and called in sick for the project meeting that day, which I hate to do, but I was in no shape for working. I also rescheduled an eye appointment I had for today. Then I got back into the reclining couch, and went to sleep.

I slept pretty much the entire day. I woke up twice; once to have a bagel with butter, and once to have a ham sandwich with cheese on a hot dog roll. I really didn't fully wake up until about 4:30. I was really unfocused and a bit unsteady on my feet, so I sat there doing nothing until dinner at 6:15. I had a cheeseburger without the roll or the bacon, with homefries.

Then I spent the rest of the evening watching the ball game, which the team won, and also the second half of the BEL/USA match, which thankfully USA lost. I'll no longer have to hear about Team USA and all the nonsensical hype. I went to bed along with DW at about 10:30 PM. I felt a bit better by the end of the day, but today will tell the tale.

'Til We Meet Again!
