Hey There! It's 8:52 AM EST
I'm waking up this morning to a light snowfall. If it has to fall, this is the way to do it. Small flakes, little to no wind, about 2-3 inches. It may snow a little more as the day goes on, and I may have to bust out the snow thrower later in the day. That'll be my exercise if I get out there.
Yesterday was an odd day in a way. I got a lot of errands taken care of, and by the time I felt I was ready to start the day, it was mid-afternoon. That's how time goes when you're retired. But I got one major task done, and that is planning out the AZ route. We'll be taking a more southerly route this year in an attempt to get out of winter's way ASAP. It's still only 6 days of driving with one layoff day, so it should work out. I also took a look at how I am going to handle my RMDs for 2026. We had a delicious Italian wedding soup with the little meatballs in it. Then I watched a few comedy videos to pass the evening. The Ashes starts up tomorrow.
Today promises to be a low activity day. I feel I'll be spending time in front of the computer screen writing. I've got two of my three interviews scheduled for tomorrow. Once I get the third one scheduled, my week will be set. Today I just need to get DW back and forth from PT, and then nothing else planned. The weather may have other notions, however.
'Til We Meet Again!
