Hey There!
It's 7:16 AM EDT, 62°F, Humidity 81%, Wind 7 mph S, clear, AQI 38
Yesterday was a day mixed with some pleasant moments and a little bit of anxiety. I started off with my morning routine, and added into that an ear-cleaning session. It was the second of two, as I did one on Monday as well. I also got in a 1.4 mile walk. The air was cool and the walk was pleasant. I am glad to be getting back into walking.
After breakfast and a shower, I spent some more time with my domain name transfer. I think I am about to give up, however. Nothing seems to be working, and it's leading to too much frustration on my part. If I just transfer the domain to my public blog I think it'll be fine. But at this point I think I have tinkered with it to the point of no return. It should be easy, but it's not.
I spent the latter part of the morning adjusting the treadmill so that DW can walk on it. I had to look up the service manual on line because I could not remember which way to turn the tracking adjustment. I figured it out, tested it, and it should be OK for her to use. She only needs to go 0.5 miles, and it will be interesting to see if she actually does it.
In the afternoon I began to track all the trades in baseball. A lot went on, but in the end I was not too pleased with the trades my team made. I am not sure they will help much, as the team doubled down on power. They found a RH bat, but not a catcher or decent bullpen help. So we shall see how this all plays out. Is it horrible? No. I think it's all designed to add power while the team' premiere power hitter and two others are on the injured list. Other teams within the division did well, so we'll see in the end.
My new mesh network was delivered, and I set that up. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not waiting until I had taken down the former network completely, and so created a new-ish network; same name, but with a capital letter at the beginning. This meant I had to reset all my smart devices, something of a PITA. Ultimately I got it done, but it's a frustrating task to have to do to get everything back on line.
I watched the ballgame in the evening after DW had dinner from the local burger shack - too much fried food. The game was a see-saw of home runs, with my team coming out on the losing side. I didn't even watch the entire game. I turned to once more working on my new domain. You can guess how that went. I cleaned up the kitchen and went to bed at 10:50. So, a pleasant morning followed by an irritating evening. Just another day in the life.
That's all for now. 'Til We Meet Again!
