Hey There!
Just got back from a round of golf. Not a good round for me. My mechanics were everywhere, and my chipping deserted me completely today. I think it's the result of fatigue. I walked three days in a row, and then today played golf, which is always a 3-mile walk. I wasn't concentrating and felt the fatigue. The last two holes were OK, but overall a mediocre round. I now consider a round where I fail to get a par not very good.
I have my senior student session today, and not much else on the calendar. I need to rest up a bit. Last night we had a delicious meatloaf with a tomato sauce made from fresh tomatoes, and it was very good. I watched most of the ballgame outside on my screened-in porch, as it was a nice evening to be out.
Fantastic weather again today. The days pass on in unhurried fashion, and I take little notice of the world around me. I seem to be sinking into a comfortable routine, and I don't feel any need to go anywhere or do anything. It may be possible that I am finally sinking into being in my 70s.
'Til We Meet Again!
