Hey There!
It's 8:25 AM EDT, 59°F, Humidity 69%, Wind 14 mph W, sunny
As mentioned, yesterday morning was a golfing morning, so I went out and played a round and got back home around 11:15 AM. My hip and back felt a little gimpy, so I've been trying to baby it these last couple of days.
The first thing I wanted to do after golf was find that video clip. So, after a little relaxation, I went upstairs and began the search. It took about 15 minutes to find the right clip, zipped in a downloaded file from when I took out all my photos from Google. With the clip in hand, I was then able to write the post I wanted for my public blog. Now I feel that transition is complete.
I ate too much leftover spaghetti and meat sauce for lunch, and this morning I think it's revealing itself to have been on its last legs.
I watched the latest episode of Sidetrack Adventures with Steve, an episode concerning a man people thought might have been Billy the Kid. The theory goes that Billy did not die at the hands of Pat Garret in 1881, but rather survived the attempt on his life and became a man named John Miller. Then I watched another video from a guy who has made some mods on his Trail 125 and was testing them out. Finally, I watched some Woodzman Adventure videos out in AZ. I will miss not being out there this winter.
At 5 PM I tuned into the Cleveland-Chicago game, which Cleveland eventually won to stave off elimination by a score of 9-3. They play again tonight. Lunch really ruined dinner for me, but I managed to eat small portions of baked pollack with breadcrumb topping, scalloped potatoes, and yellow beans. Leftover fish is never ideal.
I finished watching the CLE-CWS game after dinner. We tried to contact Son1 so we could wish him a happy anniversary, but things between he and his wife are a little strained at the moment, so he never returned our texts. We let it go, but it is on my mind at this point. Combined with DW's sister's situation, there seems to be a lot of family drama playing out that i know about, worry about, but can't do much about. That's not a good combination for me.
The Tampa Bay-Yankees game came on at 8PM, so I settled into that. Tampa won 4-3, thus sweeping the Yankees out of the playoffs. It was a game marked with bad luck (a fan interference call was made correctly), and no hitting. So the Yankee season comes to an end. Now I have to root for Cleveland, but they are on the ropes.
I watched some of the postgame interviews and commentary before heading for bed at 11:30 PM.
That's all for now. 'Til We Meet Again!
