Hey There!

It's 8:28 AM EDT, 56°F, Humidity 60%, Wind 12 mph S, bright and clear.

Yesterday I didn't do much of anything. I decided to take the day off and rest up. I started off the day with my morning routine, and then made a leftover steak and egg sandwich on a bagel for breakfast. I sat my butt on the couch and, for the most part, didn't move the rest of the day.

I answered a few emails and also replied to a few blog comments here and there. I subscribed to a morning newsletter from the Canadian Broadcasting Company. I read some blog posts from my Feedly roll. I watched YouTube videos, in particular the latest Sidetrack Adventure. I watched some videos from a man who has been living in a van for over ten years, lately in a Toyota Sienna. He was a touch boring. I got DW to let me log into her Facebook account to look for stuff on Marketplace I don' t need and shouldn't buy. I chatted with Son2 about his retirement portfolio, and with Daughter about joining Costco, as a new one opened up in Big City. That was the day. I may have left one or two small details out, but overall I did f-all. I enjoyed it.

Dinner was leftover chicken and biscuits from Sunday - a no-cook day for DW. Then back to the couch for the World Series, which Milwaukee won 4-1 and captured their first World Series title as the Brewers. I was happy to have them win, given my past connections to Wisconsin. Baseball season is now over, and it's uncertain at this point when it will start again, given the upcoming labor dispute.

The kitchen was easy to clean, and bedtime came around 11:20 PM or so.

Notable deaths: Dolores Huerta, co-founder of the United Farm Workers and tireless champion of migrant laborers, 96.

Barbara Barrie, character actress known as Barney Miller's wife, 95.

That's all for now. 'Til We Meet Again!
