Hey There! It's 5:46 PM EDT

I slept pretty well last night. I didn't eat or drink anything after dinner, and I wonder if that contributes to the lack of needing to pee. I woke up at 6:30 AM but didn't climb out of bed until 7:45, mostly dozing here and there.

The rain continues, and again, not complaining because it's helping with the drought and reservoirs and wells. I got a walk in between rain sessions. I feel like I'm beginning to get back into the swing of things with walking.

Did some re-balancing in my retirement funds by taking some profits from equities and moving it into money markets. More and more of my money is going into more conservative holdings. I really do not trust this market at all. I think the AI bubble will burst and there will be a major correction. So since my horizon is now pretty short, it's better to earn that solid 4% rather than continuing to risk capital on 12%. I think my portfolio is at maybe 45% bonds/55% equity.

Did another interview for my upcoming podcast, and then went to help out my senior tech student. She is getting the hang of things, I think. I have her down to using her email to read her subscription newsletters, and she is better able to send texts and emails. She is also being more diligent about cleaning out her inbox and deleting items. She gets a shitton of spam, and I may have to set something up that puts spam into her spam box.

DW wanted a very specific kind of salad dressing, so I went to the store to pick that up. I seldom go into stores these days, as we shop online and then I pick up the groceries. It saves us money because it's far harder to impulse shop on line. While I was in the store I could feel the urge to put things in the cart I didn't need - that doesn't happen on line. I think that's probably the major change in how we food shop.

So right now I am burning up some time awaiting dinner and then firguring out how to spend the evening. Something will come up, I am sure.
