Hey There! It's 8:11 AM EDT, 67°F, Humidity 76%, Wind 24 mph SW w/Gusts 50 mph, rain.

Woke up to a passing rainstorm this morning, with a wind advisory out. I left the EV out to charge overnight, but I guess it does all right in the rain. Good to know.

Yesterday was not a rushed day, but I feel myself having to adjust to a new rhythm or routine given the new project. I had breakfast in the morning, but no walk. I'm missing the walks, but I am trying to get a handle on how much energy I need to get through the day. Leaving out the walk leaves more energy, it seems, but I could be wrong about that. At any rate, I spent a bit of time chatting with Son2 about nothing in particular. He seems to want me to create for him a personalized EFT - a collection of equities that would simulate a stock index. He really thinks a lot about money - too much, as far as I'm concerned, but he's young and doesn't think about money the same way I do, living in retirement. I said I would do that for him, and I wil, as it gives me a project to focus on with my free time.

I had to leave early for the project meeting because I am using the EV, and I like to charge it up right as I arrive. It takes about 20-25 minutes to replenish the battery for the drive back home. While I was charging I went across the street and bought a cherry pie from the locally famous pie shop. Then I did a little research for the project, trying to fill in a couple of information gaps. Once the car was charged I went to the grocery store to pick up some lunch - a sandwich, some beef jerky, and some chocolate milk. And then I headed for the meeting. I had to get there just a bit early because I was having some new pictures taken for publicity on the web site and elsewhere.

The meeting started at 1:00, and lasted until about 4:30 or so. The schedule called for 7 PM, but I think here in the short term they may be scheduling things for more time than they need. So I got home around 5.

When I got home I was so tired I took a nap. I was very surprised by this, as it seemed to have come on suddenly. These afternoon energy letdowns requiring naps are disconcerting to me. I woke up at 6PM, and I was grouchy as hell. There were leftovers for dinner, but I didn't feel like eating them until around 7pm. DW ate on her own. Being grouchy and feeling fatigued, I didn't really enjoy dinner. I sat down to watch the ballgame, and tried to relax. I wasn't too successful, feeling restless the whole time. I had some pie and ice cream at about 8:30, which tasted good and took a little of the edge off. But I remain concerned about this lack of energy. I have to try and figure out why sitting in a chair dealing with the project for 4 hours made me feel exhausted. Is it just age, or is something else going on? I have a Medicare appointment in a couple of weeks, so I'll mention it then.

Once the game was over (another win), I did some fishing around on the internet. I looked for a trunk cover for the flat area of the EV with no luck. I saw that the performing arts center had a few more acts up on their website, so I did a little preliminary research on those acts. I read the NY Times article which featured famous artists in their 80s offering advice to Pres. Trump ("resign"). And I checked out some possible options for replacement players, as my rotisserie team is starting to lose players to injuries.

After cleaning the kitchen, I went to bed at 11:10 PM. I am hoping today I will have a little more energy to get through the day.

'Til We Meet Again!
