Hey There! It's 8:50 AM MST, 45°F, cloudy
Dropped another day yesterday. Know why? Because I got up early to conduct a Zoom interview with someone who didn't show up. That threw my morning off, and the rest of the day just went by in the process.
Nothing significant happened, tbh. My podcast was released yesterday, and I managed to create a working list of all the rest of my podcasts until June. Then I had some breakfast, a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on some store bought whole wheat bread.
We texted the Air BnB host so we could get a mop for the place and keep the floors clean. Then I got a text from the guy I was suppposed to Zoom with, apologizing for missing the meeting, and wanting to set up another one. So I set it up for late in the afternoon, and we managed to get it done.
Dinner was pretty good - broiled cod with some kind of topping, steamed broccoli, and sweet potato with brown sugar. In the evening I settled down to do more multitool research. I've had my eye on a specific small multitool that is modular and you can kit out to make it TSA friendly. So I decided to buy it and give it a shot. It isn't too expensive, but multitools are becoming my next rabbit hole purchases. To this point I have resisted any camping gear, but I'll be honest - it's hard. I'm at that point in life, I fear, where what I want to do and ejoy in life have to be tempered with the reality of what I am capable of doing and enjoying. It's always a tough call.
'Til We Meet Again!
