It continues to be cold and snowy in the Northeast where I live, and it doesn't look like we will get a reprieve any time soon. Reports indicate that the coldest air of the year is on its way, with overnight temperatures in the teens. It feels like later today, the snow thrower will be coming out for a session. I noticed this morning that my neighbor has already been out shoveling. I'm not that quick or motivated.
Yesterday felt like a full day at a job! I got up and went through my morning routine, took a walk around the local park road (I guess they don't plow the walking path), did an interview, read and commented on some projects, did another interview. Lunch was Italian wedding soup, and dinner was a turkey salad sandwich with cream of vegetable soup. The evening was spent watching an innings of a Women's Big Bash League match, and then 25 overs of the International World Cup ODI final between India and South Africa. The openers for India put on quite a show before they lost their first wicket in the 21st over.
That was the day! It seemed like a normal working day, but I never left my home office. DW listened to a new book all day, but she kept saying she needed to get more done. We are both working on planning how we will take our 2026 RMDs from our 401k accounts. She did pay the bills this month.
Today I shuttle DW to PT and go to visit my senior tech student. Hopefully the weather will not be too bad - no blinding snow squalls. I might even start making the reservations for the trip out SW.
