We're leaving this morning for a short trip, so another short post this morning. No mouse caught overnight.
Yesterday after morning routine I decided to ride out on my Honda Trail 125 to the campsite, both to warm up the bike and see how it was running, and also to check on my solar setup. Everything seemed OK. The battery box was fully charged and the cooler was running. The house battery on the motor home was also running fine. The Honda was its usual reliable self. So it looks like my setup can be permanent.
Coming back home, I began to prep for the trip. I pulled out my Garmin devices (a Zumo XT and a 66i) in anticipation of using them for the trip. I updated them and charged them up. Then I packed a bag with most of my stuff. I also went looking for my portable tire pump, and checked through the one-box camping box. That was pretty much the afternoon.
For dinner I grilled a strip steak for me and a hamburger for DW, with a quinoa pilaf on the side. Then in the evening I watched Ip Man 3, and also passed the time with some other wuxia movie featuring Jet Li (not very good, didn't finish it). Kitchen cleanup and bedtime came at 11:15 AM.
