Snow is on its way! I'm pretty happy I decided to drive home last night rather than staying in a hotel. Now I can relax, let the snow fly, and settle in to some indoor chores.
Yesterday's two classes went well. The first class felt a little disorganized, as I only got about 25 minutes with each team, but I had assistants who spent time with each team as well and I think overall people got to work on what they needed to. One team member didn't show up, which is always a huge drag on the group. Not sure why that person decided to ghost her partner, but I think people said it worked out. I am not sure. And this wasn't exactly my class - I was filling in for Son2. So he'll have to deal with the fallout next week.
My own class went well, as the students were understanding more and more of the skills involved, and began using them in the session. I love when students can see that the practical application of the theoretical skills can actually near fruit. When I got home, I was pretty weary. Hit up some YouTube channels and went to bed. Slept very well, I think.
Today I expect I will not get very much accomplished. That's intentional. I have only one project ahead, my podcast, and I should be getting to that tomorrow. The rest of the week has only my senior tech student, and class next Saturday (the last session). I'm afraid I won't get the trailers covered in time before the snow comes, but I suspect I will be able to do so once it melts off. So it looks like an easy week ahead, and I intend to take it easy.
