Today is our 51st wedding anniversary.
Yesterday ended up much as I planned it out. I watched about 5 hours of the Ashes first test, and am at the point where Australia is coming to bat in their second innings trailing by 204 runs. I had a Bailey's and eggnog, then fell asleep with the TV on for maybe 30 minutes or so (I missed a wicket). DW had been upstairs resting her foot and talking with her sister, so she came downstairs and we had leftovers for dinner. The evening I spent watching a bunch of YouTube videos. Nothing interesting; just passing the time. In bed by 11 PM.
This morning is grey and gloomy, but not excessively cold. Until you factor in the wind, which bring the wind chill temperature down to the teens. I must be entering full hibernation mode, because I am getting up around the 8AM hour these days. I am not sure where today is going, but I am sure that by 4:30 we will be watching the regional football team in action. We udually like to go out for our anniversary, but the weather is not helping our motivation. Staying inside is always a nice option these days, and DW needs to rest her foot after the holiday. Tomorrow starts the planning for the trip SW.
