Hey There! It's 8:54 AM EST

Yesterday I taught the sixth and final class for Son2. It went well, and I think the people who took the class enjoyed it. I'm glad to be done and have my Saturdays free once more, and I am also glad to have been able to help out Son2 and teach a class for him, bringing in a little more money into the studio. It's doing OK. He told me the studio made $20K gross this year, which is not bad for a side hustle. Naturally I won't miss the drive either, as I had to drive last night in the rain and dark, not too much fun these days.

Today we're supposed to have a real estate talk with Son2 and discuss where we will live in the future. DW and I could stay in this house for a few more years, but we believe that by 80 it will be too much to maintain. Son2 is looking for a house can can actually do three things: hold his studio, an apartment for him and one for us. Should be an interesting discussion.

Then I am supposed to go out and see an opera today. I am not looking forward to that too much. It's an "obligation" event, so it will serve a purpose. But the weather is also supposed to turn nasty. Not that it's far away, but who likes to go out in nasty weather?

The week ahead should bring more interviews and preparation for Thanksgiving. Son1's family is coming, and that's all. Daughter is too far away and her recent operations have cost her time off, and Son2 will be with the girlfriend. Smaller event, but that's fine.

Well, that's about it, I guess. Such is life in the slow lane.
