Hey There! It's 8:25 AM MST, 53°F, sunny

Missed a day for the first day in a while. Yesterday I got up quite late, and I believe the anxiety of the coming week's activities put enough pressure on me that, in the course of events, I let this blog go by. No worries. We resume.

To summarize Friday, I did an interview for my podcast, mostly rested once again (as I remain sore), and began to watch the World Baseball Classic, with the USA taking on Brazil. Dinner was leftovers: I had beef stew, DW had tofu. An ordinary day in all respects from someone leading an ordinary life.

Yesterday, after morning ritual and (as noted) a late start to the day, I noticed in my email a lot of undeliverable mail notices. It turns out I fell for a phishing scam, as I opened what appeared to be an invitation to a sea fest from a friend. I believe it then sent out a bunch of emails to people in my contact lists. I was contacted by some of them to question the invite, and told them not to open it. I texted the person who sent it to me, and he had the same reaction to it. I don't think it didi any permanent damage, but I changed my password on that account and am no longer having mail from it forwarded to me. I'll be keeping my eye on other accounts.

I put together my next podcast for this coming Wednesday. That's an accomplishment. I also believe I have the interviews to put together the one following on the 25th. It is, I think, going to be an anxious week, as we will be leaving our current location to set out on the road for 10 days of travel. I have a lot to get done in that time, including taxes. I plan to attack the taxes today.

Once I finished the podcast, we went out to eat at what has to be my favorite restaurant here. It's a Japanese/Mexican fusion place, a unique combination. I had three tacos - beef, chicken, and shrimp - while DW had three birras tacos with shredded beef. We split a tempura roll. And we had churros for dessert, with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. It was quite the feast. We actually did not bring home any leftovers. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious, so the value was very good. It's a great restaurant.

Upon returning back home, I watched the USA defeat Great Britain 9-1. Most of these lower teams in pool play simply don't have the pitching to pitch to the USA hitters. In the Brazil game I watched a 17-year-old pitch to Aaron Judge. No contest. After the game just a little catching up on a video or two before bed at 11:03 PM.

'Til We Meet Again!
