Hey There! It's 3:05 PM MDT, 60°, sunny

Today is an R&R day as I try to recover a little strength from yesterday. I went to bed last night super-early, around 9:15 PM, because I was so incredibly tired. But I woke up around 12:30 AM feeling not so hot. I think I was a little constipated. I worked out the blockage, and once that happened, I felt a lot better, and proceeded to sleep until 7:45 AM this morning. I am not sure if the meal last night had anything to do with this, but I am not eating the leftovers I brought back with me as a safety precaution.

This morning I talked to my brother and SIL, who are my travel companions to Japan. He's checking in to make sure DW is still OK, which she is, relatively speaking. While the afib continues, she is taking it very easy. All the medical people we've consulted say that as long as her rate does not climb above a consistent 100 bpm, she should be fine. People apparently live with this, but I imagine once we get home a cardiology visit will be in order.

I've taken in a ballgame this morning - Yankees v Phillies in a spring training matchup. We also did a bit of re-arranging of the car. I was planning a wholescale rearrangement, but I decided I wasn't interested in any physical work, so I am letting that go until we get to Daughter's place in two days.

Not much else to report. Son2's show went well, he says, so that's some good news. He's happy to be back on a stage. I may have mentioned this before, but I think I'll be reassessing these long trips. Traveling is wearying, and unless you can stay in one place for some period of time, it can wear on you. I am feeling the fatigue a bit, and wondering how I will last in Japan. With all the world turmoil going on, I wonder if this will be as smooth a trip as it might have been in normal circumstances. ICE taking over airport security is not ideal. Just more stress to add to the pile.

'Til We Meet Again!
