Hey There! It's 8:00 AM EST, 26°F, mostly cloudy. The sun hasn't made an appearance since the new year began.
Yesterday was another packing day. All day until about 4PM. I began packing the electronics bag, which holds all the electronics we'll be taking to AZ. I also tried again to move some files from one hard drive to another, but failed again. I think I have no other choice at this point but destructive ones, or buy another hard drive. I also managed to find, update, and charge my three Garmin devices. I was worried when I couldn't exactly remember what I done with my Zumo, but it was in the Venza. And a delivery of clothes came in the mail - a merino shirt, a pair of pants, and a puffer jacket, all for use in Japan. Decathlon is a good company, but sizing can be difficult. I have to try the pants and shirt on today.
After 4PM I took a nap (again), then woke up and had a dinner of chicken cutlets, potatoes, and snow peas. We've finished the last of the potatoes, and are working on the meat that's left. In the evening I had a short chat with a colleague, then watched more YouTube videos. I really and truly need to find a better evening activity. I did do some research about the use of US Post Office General Delivery service, and I could actually have my mail forwarded there, but I think I'd rather rent a PO box. Bedtime after kitchen cleanup was 11:02 PM
I must comment here that life has become depressing living in a rogue nation. The invasion of Venezuela puts a damper on every activity I participate in. More evidence of how decadent and how low we've sunk as a culture and nation. Entropy continues to have its way, as we put in charge those who can best do us the most harm. We are an idiotic nation full of stupid people pursuing mindless goals. We aim for nothing lofty or beautiful. We swim in a toxic cesspool of lies and ignorance. It will all come crashing down at some point. In the meantime, we lost our freedom and liberty, exchanging it for a bowl of beans. There are sad and angry days ahead as people grasp for any hope at all.
