Hey There! It's 9:47 PM MST, 38°F, clear skies

I'M FINISHED! I just sent off the last batch of projects. My desk is clear of those. Now, if I can get my podcast out by Wednesday, I will have made significant progress towards getting back to normal.

Today I slept in a little bit because I did not sleep well last night. I got up to pee around 2:30 AM, and the fell into a depression/stress funk, thinking about how much work I've been doing, and have left to do. I didn't come here to work, and for sure I did not realize how much work reading all those projects was going to be. I also began to think about all the stuff I own, and how hard it's going to be to get rid of it all. I believe when I get back home I am going to have to develop the strength of will to begin the process of getting rid of stuff. I just can't leave it to my children. I'm very worried about that. I think at this point my #1 priority in life is to try and make their jobs when DW and I pass as easy as possible. Getting rid of clutter has to be a priority while I still have some strength to move things about.

When I got up I realized I was running out of coffee-making supplies. Filters were low, and the actual coffee supply was low as well. On top of that, DW burned some potatoes in a pot yesterday while making stew, and it has a layer of burn on it. It's not our pot. So I went to Wal-Mart to buy coffee, fliters, Brillo, and Barkeeper's Friend. Easy trip.

The big winter storm passed over where Sons 1 and 2 live, so we checked in on both of them. All good. In their respective locations it's just a lot of snow - no ice. We ended up chatting with Son1 for a bit and catching up. Then DW and I watched the football playoffs. DW made "chicken pizza," basically marinated chicken with artichoke hearts, melted mozzerella and seasoned chicken strips on top of some flatbread. It was good. Then after the games I finished the remaining projects, and here I am!

I'll be looking forward to some normal days now, and will relish not being chained to my desk. Just have to spend the next two days nailing down the podcast. I hope I can make my deadline.

'Til We Meet Again!
