This morning I'm getting here early, while yesterday I got here late. Nothing on the schedule this morning makes that easy.
Yesterday there's not much to report other than I got out my podcast for this coming Wednesday. I still have the show notes to do, but that's about 20 minutes of work. The podcast usually takes 7 hours to produce in one sitting once I have all the material in.
I had one person I interviewed whose name kept giving me fits. I mispronounced it twice in the original narration recording, so I had to go back and correct that. Late in the day, while I proofed the recording, I also solidified our trip to see some ball games. Our host has been trying to get us to come at a different time, but I finally convinced her that we just didn't have the time during that window, so next weekend we are going up.
I also bought my ticket for the Yakult Swallows game in Japan. While I would have preferred to see the Tokyo Dome, I was at the mercy of our traveling schedule, the baseball schedule, and when we would be where. I got a ticket right behind home plate. It was quite fascinating to see the price at over 8,000 yen turn into $54 and change.
Dinner was a lovely bolognese sauce over pasta. DW has really gotten into making this sauce over a simple meat sauce, and it's worth the effort. After dinner it was another evening filled with Sidetrack Adventure videos and a couple of other camping videos. Beats me how people can camp in the wintertime. Too dark, cold, and too little to do for me. Bedtime was 11:22 PM.
