Hey There! It's 9:04 AM, 33°F, light snow and clouds. The sun has been in hiding all week.

It's the 84th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

This morning started out rather hectic. First thing I did was start the coffee. Last night I realized I had used up one of my eye drops, but decided I would put them in the following morning. This morning, I could not find the refills. I usually refrigerate them, and they were not in the basement fridge, so I was puzzled. I went on line to insure that I had picked them up. Then I remembered where they were. DW had put them in a drawer in which we keep our other medications, under some other placemats and baking gear. So I broke one out and refrigerated the rest. Then I refilled my other supplements for the week. Then I cleaned up the remainder of the kitchen. Then I went to the back room to check on if my 4TB external drive had formatted. It did, but I think I had chosen the wrong file format. So I did some quick research, chose a different file format, and now files are moving over for backup. All this before 9:04 AM!

Yesterday was another somewhat busy day. I spent the morning thinking about where to install Zorin OS, and I have decided to try and do it on the main computer downstairs in place of Ubuntu. As mentioned above, the portable hard drive didn't work, as it was formatted for Apple. So I had to re-format the whole drive, and I chose to erase it completely, which took the rest of the day (there was still one hour to go when I went to bed).

After that I decided to finish off reading my remaining projects. That was a couple of hours. I had some lunch (grilled ham and cheese sandwich), and then went to watch the first session of the second test of the Ashes. I had to work hard not to fall asleep.

We had a dinner of leftover Italian wedding soup and some garlic pull-apart bread. Then DW suggested an old British TV crime drama called Prime Suspect with Helen Mirren. It was produced in 1991. It was way too slow and draggy for me. I thought it was a one-hour episodic cop drama, but it turns out to be a 2-part movie-type series. I got through it, but I think DW will have to watch the rest by herself. Helen Mirren plays a female detective who gets her first case with a group of men who don't like her. You can guess how that goes.

I did spend the rest of the evening watching some old Ernie Kovacs videos. What a unique talent he was. Bedtime by 11:15.

Today should be a slow morning, We have to go to a Christmas party while the regional team plays, which is not ideal. So it goes this time of year.

'Til We Meet Again!
