Hey there!

So here's an experiment for you. I'm sitting in front of my favorite burger joint, waiting for a barbecued hot dog, and I'm dictating this on my phone. Not typing. I'm pretty sure this is going to turn out to be a little bit erratic, as I am not very good at dictating fluently. It's a lot better when I write, because my brain is attached to my fingers better than my brain is attached to my mouth, if you know what I mean. Oops! Just got called up to get my hot dog. Back in a minute.

Okay, I'm back. I have a nice spot by the lake in the shade, and I'm eating my delicious barbecue hot dog. This Burger shack makes the best food that you can possibly want in the summertime- burgers and hot dogs and all kinds of delicious things. I really enjoy eating there, and it's a sign of the end of summer when the place closes.

The weather has been absolutely fantastic lately. Right now it's about 75°, sunny, and it somehow feels a lot warmer than that. Today I took a walk as I usually do, then I had an interview. Not for the podcast coming out tomorrow, but for the next one. That means I have all my interviews in the can for the October 1st edition, and I'm pretty happy about that. I'm thinking of doing a little bit of camping, although I may just camp on a piece of property I have and then test some of the equipment I own.

Today I'm getting a couple of errands done. I'm going to go get some gas for the car, and then I'm getting my covid shot. After that, not sure how I'll spend the afternoon, but I got to tell you with a beautiful day like this, hopefully I'll be able to spend most of it outdoors.

My baseball team shit the bed last night, hope they'll do a little bit better today. I've got a really clean calendar coming up the next few days, with not much to do. Sometimes I get conflicted between just wanting to hang around the house and enjoy the good weather, or get outside and get something done. But I suppose I'll work that out in the days to come. Goodness knows this weather is not going to last much longer!
