I am getting this post in now before taking off to teach my new class because once I leave I probably won't be back before 9 PM and I'll be too tired to write, or I'll forget. Today is filled with travel and class, so not much to write about until tomorrow I suppose,
But that Detroit-Seattle baseball game - what a game! Seattle won in 15 innings 3-2, and it was a classic. Since I stayed up to watch the whole game and didn't get to bed until about 1 AM this morning, I'm sort of starting out the day with a little less sleep than I'd like. I should think 7 hours is enough, but with age comes the need for more sleep, it seems. So it will be a challenging day, but I have podcasts and the MLB Network to listen to while traveling, so it's not too bad. I'll catch part of the Cubs-Brewers elimination game on the ride home as well. This should be plenty to keep me alert on the road.
I haven't taught a class on my own in 7 years. Wish me luck!
