Hey There! It's 10:49 EDT
Lots of things ending today. Daylight savings time, alternate-week parking, the World Series/baseball season. The beginning of November, for me, always locks the door to summer and warmth until May. This is the month where things have to be shuttered in, battened down, and closed up. Tomorrow brings with it a new list of chores and jobs all related to winter preparations. In the past two Novembers there has been snow on the ground by mid-month, and last Thanksgiving brought in 30" of snow. Things will soon get real.
Yesterday, however, was quiet. I spent the day really not doing much of anything. DW had a couple of appointments, so she was out of the house all day. I can't recall anything I did that was of particular significance outside of handing out candy for three hours in the late afternoon. Passed the time with YouTube and other trivial matters.
Today it's off to teach another class in Son2's studio. That's really the whole day right now. I need to shower, get dressed, make sure I have what I need, get gas for the car, 2 hours to get there, 3 hours to teach, 2 hours to get back. Then catch the rest of Game 7. Tomorrow will be a planning day for the week in terms of securing items and winterizing. It looks like a busy week ahead.
