Hey There! It's 9:44 AM EDT, 77°F, Wind 20 mph SW, partly sunny

Yesterday was a busy day, and by the end of it I was a bit fatigued. So I slept in this morning. :-)

After my morning routine, it was another day of shooting video for the Discovery Trail site. I got the site early, before 9 AM, and managed to get some video of the day's volunteers warming up and stretching. Once they finished that, they went to work, and I followed them out onto the work site, filming whatever I could find them doing. It was the last day of the build, so everyone was hustling to make sure things were complete by the ribbon-cutting time of 3:00 PM.

I had to get back home for an interview for one of my three "mini-podcasts" coming up this summer. I took care of that, and then went back to the worksite, where I grabbed lunch. I filmed a few things, but then realized I had forgotten to put my wash in the machine, so I went back home, started my laundry, and went back to the site. I was there until about 4:30, filming the ribbon cutting ceremony and a walk-through of the completed project with the project manager.

I took a shower and got my usher's uniform out of the laundry, and headed over to the performing arts center for a quick ushering gig. I took tickets, but left once the show started, since I wasn't needed post-show. Dinner was some baked crispy chicken and a salad. DW gave me the news that her sister's car had been re-possessed. That situation just continues to escalate. Her sister insists she's going to get her car back, but we all doubt it, since her driving license and the car's registration have both expired, and it's not likely anyone will take her to the DMV for renewal. It's sad, really.

After dinner I turned on the ball game, which was a loss. I was pretty tired at the end of the evening, so rather than pick up anything else to do, I cleaned up the kitchen and went to bed around 10:40 PM. The day went fast, as did this whole week - a week of glorious weather for building a play space for kids.
