Yesterday was a day of almost complete rest. In the morning, after my morning routine, I went to the mechanic and picked up the Kia. Another large bill. I took the car right away to an auto parts store and had the windshield wipers replaced. Then I drove home, and literally sat in my recliner chair all day long.
And honestly, I don't know that there's much more I want to write about. I contacted the doctor who's going to do my colonoscopy, and I contacted my former union to see that I am up to date on my dental and health insurance. Then I really just frittered the rest of the day away, passing the time with YouTube and other internet sites. I have been trying to get as much rest as possible for the upcoming two weeks when the project comes due, so I really did not do much at all. Not worth writing about.
Dinner was a chicken meatball sub. The ball game was delayed and did not start until 8:45 PM, so I missed the last few innings. But I see the team won 5-3. I went to bed at 10:50 PM.
My head remains a little woozy, and I am still careful about side-to-side movement. I am hoping it continues to improve over today, as I am doing what I can to make sure I feel as good as I can for the next two weeks. As they say - this, too, shall pass.
