Hey There!

It's 7:54 AM EDT, 71°F, Humidity 69%, Wind 9 mph S, mostly cloudy, AQI 54

Well, you all know how my morning went yesterday, so there's no point in belaboring that. But I did forget to mention that on Thursday I went out for my first walk since the end of the project. Got in 1.4 miles, not terrible for a first run out. Today I think is going to be a zero day, as I can still feel some lingering stiffness in my back and legs.

I did not play too badly. I hit a few screamers off the tee, and about 5 putts went around the hole and didn't drop in. No pars, but a few good-looking bogeys. I wish I had one smooth swing in my muscle memory that I could rely on, but I don't. My irons weren't too good. But I'm not very serious about the game; it's just a fun walk and exercise with a friend. Not much more to it than that.

I spent the afternoon still trying to crack the internet code on linking my blog files with my domain name. Hasn't happened yet. I actually broke down and consulted an AI, and it gave me some clarity, but not enough. Its information might be dated. I do have to give it time, however, to propagate, so there is that. I already checked this morning, and no dice. I'll keep trying.

Daughter checked in to inform us that her license situation has resolved, and we're clear for the baseball trip. She also let us know that the Womens Professional Baseball League is being broadcast on ESPN with a Select membership. I'll probably have to get one of those for a month or so to watch a few games before we get there.

I also got a call from one of my fellow rotisserie owners in my league who's coming down with his daughter for some kind of softball tournament. I owe him a beer from a bet a few years back, so we will be getting together today for that beer.

The rest of the day I just chilled out. I watched the ball game, a rare Friday afternoon game. Two home runs by my team was all the scoring to be had in the entire game, so we won. I had my first ear of corn from this year's sweet corn harvest for lunch. August will bring in a lot more in the coming weeks. I took a nap, which turned out to be unintentional - I just fell asleep without knowing it. When I woke up I was completely startled because I hadn't realized I had gone to sleep!

DW found a 50% deal for a large pizza from Dominos, so we bought one of those for dinner, and added a salad. Not often you can grab a $10 pizza these days. The rest of the evening I spent killing time before bed, watching YouTube videos and reading a few web sites. I cleaned the kitchen and headed for bed at 10:57 PM.

That's all for now. 'Til We Meet Again!
