Hey There! It's 7:41 PM EDT, 42 degrees, drizzle
We ended up celebrating DW's birthday by going to a relatively new Peruvian restaurant in town. It was pretty good, aside from a few small gaffes. My order came with shrimp but when the meal was brought out, only the beef was there. I had to remind the server that it came with shrimp. The meals were also pretty slow in coming. No real worries, just a slight inconvenience.
We also had dessert with the meal, two wonderful slices of cake. Mine was strawberry vanilla, while DW had chocolate coconut. It seems the chef is from Peru and his wife is Bolivian, and she had a bakery back home, so all her cakes are made from scratch. Pretty sweet!
The evening passed quietly, with a baseball game and DW getting calls from the kids. I went to bed early enough, but I got up at 3:15 AM and was awake until about 5 AM, then slept until 9:45 AM. Getting re-adjusted to regular hours is still a work in progress.
