Hey There!
Another podcast in the can! I am always so happy when I've finished a podcast and get it scheduled. I still have show notes to write, but I can do those tomorrow morning.
Started the day with some fresh brewed coffee and made some adjustments to my public-facing blog. I am now recording my blog posts, and I had to do a couple of edits to get it right. Then I took DW to her PAT session while I went out for a 2-mile walk. The weather has been fantastic, even though the region is now in a mild drought. The 10-day forecast ahead seems to bode more of the same.
After picking up DW, had some breakfast and then got down to editing the podcast. That took up the rest of the day with a break for lunch. I also received a new pouch for EDC carry (my new fascination). I've stuffed a few things in there, but I think this is going to take a little more thought than I had planned. Having the right tools for EDC carry is really the key, and I have to think carefully about what I will actually need and use.
My neighbor is having his roof replaced, so the day was filled with hammers pounding and crowbars scraping. Replacing a roof is no picnic - I had mine done right in April of 2021. Complete tear-off.
Tonight is probably going to be another ball game as the season winds down. A couple of weeks more and then playoffs. My team should make the playoffs, but I don't hold out too much hope of getting past the first round. They could surprise me.
