Hey There! It's 10:26 AM EST
Yesterday was another one of those days where I feel I accomplished a good amount of chores, but at the end my body felt so worn out and fatigued. I really hate that feeling, as it makes me feel old and weak. I don't know how to overcome this issue, but the reality may be that there is no overcoming this issue. I am old and weak. Nothing to be done.
Here's the list of chores accomplished:
- I re-arranged items in the back yard shed so as to take better advantage of the space. I did not do a thorough job; just enough to make things work.
- I removed the battery from the Kymco scooter and brought it downstairs to place on a trickle charger for the winter.
- I put the scooter in the shed.
- I inflated the tires on my 2017 Rook ebike. I am testing to see if the tires will still hold air, or if I will have to replace the tubes come spring.
- I put the Lectric ebike in the shed in a place where I can get to it easily enough so that, when Son1 comes for Thanksgiving, he ca grab it and take it home for his wife's daughter. It's her birthday present.
- I moved the Honda Trail to in front of the RV on the driveway pavement. That way, when the time comes to haul it to AZ, it's as close to the car as I can get it.
- I brought all the back porch furniture as well as 2 #20 propane tanks to the shed for winter storage.
I think that's about it. There are items on the screened-in porch that have to be brought in for the winter, but I can hold off on them for a bit in case one or two nice days come along.
Once I finished all those tasks, I basically sat around the rest of the day. I watched our football team play, had a dinner of honey garlic chicken with rice and broccoli, and kind of floated about on YouTube for the rest of the evening.
It was hard getting out of bed this morning, So far I've taken out the recycling, taken DW to PT, read some news, ate some breakfast, and did a little task for Son2. Today is a bit of a nasty day, with strong winds and predicted rain. Tomorrow will be a day starting to close the land up, so I am using today as a rest-and-recover day to prepare for tomorrow.
'Til We Meet Again!
