Hey There! It's 8:32 AM EDT, 52°F, sunny

Yesterday turned out to be a much quieter day than I anticipated. After my morning routine, I waited for Son2 to get up and come downstairs. When he did, we spent some time looking at new cars and possible new sites for his studio. Some possibilities seem to exist, but it appears at this point he will go it on his own. That takes some of the pressure off DW and me. We don't really have to hustle to get ready and move, and can take a couple of years to tie down things on this house before we have to go. And maybe we won't ever have to go. We are fine where we are despite all the decay surrounding us. So we will wait it out for now, let him get settled in whatever he's going to do, and continue on from there.

I had intended to go to a show with him, but the more he talked about it, it seemed like he was trying to talk me out if it. So I finally declined to go, which was the right choice in the end, as he texted us that the show was not particularly good. Instead I watched a baseball game and did some work on my rotisserie team. The game was a laugher by the end, so I turned it off in the 8th inning. The team has been doing well these past two weeks. I hope they can maintain the pace.

DW surprised me with a dinner of chicken scampi and salad. Chicken scampi is one of my all-time favorite meals. I had more than I should have, but I did finish the salad.

In the evening I watched a video from Asian Boss, which is a very in-depth channel that takes deep dives into Asian commerce and culture. Then I decided to write a post for my public blog, which entailed getting some pictures into the mix, so I had to do some reorganizing of my photos. This took the rest of the evening, which was good because it kept me from watching any more Youtube videos. I really have to find something more productive than YouTube videos in the evening. It's just that by nighttime I am usually fatigued to the point of not wanting to be productive; I'd rather veg out on the couch instead. During baseball season the night games are a great way to relax, but when there are day games or days off, the evenings can present a challenge. DW watches a lot of TV shows on her computer, but I can't bring myself to watch TV series. What's the difference, I wonder, between TV shows and Youtube videos? Bedtime was 11:17 PM.
