Hey There!
It's 7:55 AM EDT, 63°F, Humidity 77%, Wind 8 mph S, AQI 52 (moderate), sunny.
It's a very pleasant morning this morning. Cool, sunny, and the air quality is OK. It should stay this way all day. Good deal!
Yesterday was not terrible. I went through my morning routine, having a slice of bread with peanut butter and a yogurt with granola for breakfast (DW's homemade granola). By the time I got everything in order and had cleaned up, it was pretty much time to head out for the day's project session.
I took the 25-minute drive, which is always a nice drive when the weather is good, and arrived at noon. The FL wanted to go over a few things, which by this time I had come to realize what a waste of time this is because she still makes the same mistakes anyway. So we did that, and then I got ready for the public session. That went well enough. The FL is just a ball of jumpy nerves, but at least when she went off the rails I was able to get us on track.
I got home about 4 PM, in time to see the second half of the World Cup final. I have not been much interested in the World Cup, as the way soccer is played today really doesn't suit my tastes. It's getting to be like ice hockey. It seems every sport these days has to be played with an intensive fervor that leads to more physical play, and I don't really see the need for that. The sport should demonstrate the skill of players, not their ability to push, shove, grab, and flop. I made too many comments while watching the match about that for DW's liking, who has been watching a lot of matches, so I had to hold my tongue for half of the half.
Once the match was over I watched the condensed first game of the scheduled double-header, which we lost pretty badly. Dinner was a baked chicken breast in a light broth, with potatoes and breaded zucchini crisps. Then I decided to listed to the second game rather than watch because I can't stand the collection of jocks that NBC brought together for commentary. This one we barely won, but a win is a win.
After the game I spent a little time on YouTube casing some random videos on solar, travel tips, and demographics. Nothing new, but it passed the rest of the time. Bedtime was 11:22 PM.
