Hey There! It's 8:02 AM EST, 29°F, cloudy. Another sunless day, although the temperature may climb above freezing for the first time in a while.

We continue to pack. I managed to get about 95% of my clothes and electronics packed up, waiting only for last minute items. I had a hard time trying to decide which suitcase to pack my AZ clothes in, settling on a 55-litre Osprey pack I have. I spent time getting cables straight, and also seeing about which backup hard drive I am bringing. I am also trying to decide if a second computer is necessary. I'd need an external monitor, and I have a portable one, but it's pretty dim. I probably should see if my Mac keyboard will connect to a Linux box. That might make the decision easier.

As usual, packing took up most of the day. By 2PM I was pretty much done. So I passed the time checking out more Japan info, downloading a custom map of sights in Japan. It was football time by 4:30, so we watched the local team go through their paces. They're in the playoffs and will play next week.

We had a very nice dinner of leftover beef loin sandwiches. DW made some Italian bread, and we took the leftover mushroom gravy and fried some peppers and onions, and dumped all that on top of the meat and into the sandwich. Sloppy, but good. Then I watched the final football game of the season, which was a crazy affair. Sometimes those crazy games can be very entertaining. Bedtime 11:50 PM.

I feel a little better about the state of packing, a little less anxious. DW has three appointments today, and I have to run errands and such. Having specific to-dos each day will keep me on course. Today I should make a recycle run and call to see about getting the rain gutters on the car installed. Down to the wire!
