Hey There! It's 7:18 PM MST, 56°F, clear skies
I got distracted this morning and wasn't able to get in my daily post, so I am back to an evening session.
Yesterday we spent the day primarily watching football. I spent the morning trying every which way to get the playoff games we wanted to watch, but the NFL has you by the short hairs. So we caved in and bought YouTube TV for a month so as to insure we could get all the games and the Superbowl. I have no interest in football any more, but DW still wants to watch the playoffs. And as she rightly pointed out, we spend more money on sillier things, so the cost of one month of YouTube TV isn't gonna kill us. And while I may not be all that interested, there is some entertainment value to be had, as well as having time pass.
DW is also feeling much better, it seems, although her energy level is still not quite back to normal. We made dinner together last night - chicken burgers and stuffing - and she was pretty tired after the effort even with my help. But her stomach has calmed down and things are moving as they should.
In the evening I watched a few videos on camping. I saw a tent I'd love to own, but I resisted buying it. I can't buy any more gear that I won't use, and I'm barely using the gear I have now. I also saw a really sweet tent warmer that runs on butane and is very light and portable, but again, I didn't buy it. The temptation to buy new camping gear is always strong with me, so I'm pleased that I've been able to resist the urge. So far. I got to bed by around 11:15 PM, my normal time, so I have been pretty successful in re-setting my circadian clock. But I still haven't started walking again yet. That has to happen starting tomorrow.
