Hey There! it's 9:03 AM MST, 53°F, sunny

Yesterday was a nice day. The weather turned just warm enough to be enjoyable. DW got a lot of sitting in the warmth in yesterday.

I took my morning walk but made a wrong turn, resulting in a distance of slightly over 2 miles. I wasn't too tired when I got back, but I was thirsty. DW complains that I don't hydrate enough. Probably true.

I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel for breakfast. The I got busy with the day. I've been sleeping in a bit more the past two days, not getting up until after 8 AM. Not that it matters all that much, but I hate to start my days so late.

I've been doing a lot of prepping of my Garmin units. I have three: one for the motorcycle, one for hiking, and one for the car. I want them all charged up and ready to go. The stupidest thing about Garmin is that some cables are USB transfer cables, and some are just power cables. And they still use that fat USB connection on the back of their units. So cabling can be a mess sometimes. But I got all that straight and the units are charged up. I also installed the holder onto the motorcycle.

I put together the little work table I ordered from Amazon as well. It was easy to assemble, and it fit good enough into the space I had for it. It's a little closer to the door than I'd like, but then again it's not my space, so I don't feel like doing a wholesale rearranging of furniture. It'll do, and it allows me to get my legs under the table for more comfort.

I did a little more of the usual puttering about on Youtube. I don't know why I feel guilty doing this. I think it's because I feel I am supporting Google when I do. But sometimes the information you can get is interesting. I'm beginning to think more about packing for Japan, and I want as much information about Japan as possible. I've discovered that the best thing to do when it comes to a multitool in Japan is not to take one. I can live 10 days without a multitool, so why bother? I reset the tool set on my new Roxon to include a blade and a can opener given that reality. I tried napping, but I really didn't get any sleep.

Dinner was cheeseburger soup and sourdough bread that the landlady brought over. Then DW and I watched three episodes of Wonder Man. I am fascinated by how literate it gets, with the characters quoting lines from King Lear, The Grapes of Wrath, and Amadeus. It's been an interesting show to watch, and has spurred thoughts about what else I could write. I cleaned up the kitchen after the show (I'm the family bottle-washer), and hit the sack by 11:15 PM.

'Til We Meet Again!
