Hey There! It's 2:36 PM EST, 22°F, heavy snow, wind
Well it's been a day so far! If the weather reports are accurate, I should be stuck in the house until Friday with snow falling all this week. Not the best of situations.
Anyway, yesterday was pretty mellow as far as it goes. The morning passed uneventfully. DW made a nice breakfast of western omelette with bacon on the side. By noon it was raining like the dickens, a downpour. I spent most of the afternoon continuing my research into all things Japan. I have been gearing in the Japan Rail system, trying to understand it. The Japan Rail pass apparently has gone up in price, so the word is it might not be the value it once was. But price comparison is tedious, and I may just buy the JR pass for the sheer convenience of it.
The late afternoon/evening was spent watching football. We lost, but no big deal, since we're in the playoffs. I'm still not a big fan of football, but DW enjoys watching the game, so I join in. We had dinner before the game started - a meat loaf cooked in the crock, with some potatoes.
I returned to my research in the evening, but towards the end of the night I got bored. I waited too late to switch to watching cricket, so I think I wandered aimlessly on YouTube, looking for the odd video on Japan and maybe finding another worthwhile content creator. Bedtime was 11:05.
I'll leave this morning's adventures for tomorrow's post so I'll have something to write about. It's been busy and hectic so far today, with the weather an added complication.
