Yesterday was a pretty mellow day. I'm beginning to re-establish my morning routine, and I made my first pot of brewed coffee from my coffee brewer with ground beans. I think the beans are not as fresh as they could be, as they've been dragged from AZ to WA and back to NY without being in an airtight bag, but the coffee tasted much better than what I have been drinking. I ordered some fresh beans yesterday and when this current batch is gone, I'll be on to fresher stuff. I also have to re-start my delivery from my local roaster, whose beans I don't like all that much, but I like supporting his business.
I didn't leave the house until 2PM to pick up a Walmart delivery. We needed a fair amount of groceries to begin cooking at home. So the basics are in, but some incidentals (jelly, honey) still have to be acquired. I started listening to a ballgame, and when I got home I tried to get it on the TV, but had trouble doing so. Gotta work on that.
Dinner was another frozen leftover we had before heading west - pulled pork We bought some burger buns and had those with a salad. In the evening I spent my time watching some YouTube videos, and got so involved I forgot to turn in my rotisserie baseball transactions. Oh well. Bedtime was 11:15.
