Hey There! It's 1:30 PM EDT, 56°F, mostly cloudy
It's a little bit late, but I suspect I won't be getting back to my usual routine too quickly. I slept in this morning until about 8:15 AM, and just trying to get my head together to remember what day of the week it is has been a struggle. I keep thinking it's Sunday. So I thought I'd write a quick something here and try to get back to every day, as I've mentioned before.
So far I've accomplished having breakfast, getting some electronics unpacked, and walking downtown to pay the water bill and post some mail. I've already started mail delivery, and we've gone through most of the important stuff. I have been trying hard to sort out what I actually used while away from home and what I didn't so that, if there's a next time, I will have a better idea of what to bring and can pack more lightly. There are too many "just in case" items I packed that I never used.
Today is DW's birthday, and ordinarily I'd make some sort of dinner for her. But so far she hasn't indicated what she wants to do later this evening. She spent the morning getting her kitchen sorted out, but I doubt she wants to cook. We have to eat, so we'll go somewhere, I imagine.
Nothing really more of note. Easing back into life at home will take more time that I think. I walked downtown to pay the water bill and my head just felt a bit light. 8 days in a car traveling at 75 MPH for 6 hours a day may have something to do with that.
'Til We Meet Again!
